This beautiful zoo spans 69 acres of land and works on various conservation and breeding programs. Here is the Bronx Zoo! The Bronx Zoo is unimaginably expansive. This Zoo opened its doors back in 1899 and since then has been home to more than 10,000 animals, out of which there were 700 unique species. This zoo is over 265 acres big and has worked to save endangered animals through its research and breeding of animals such as the American bison.
