Toshi is a famous Black Rhino that is housed at the Miami Zoo. Toshi was born in Hiroshima Japan, in 1977, and then found a permanent home at Miami Zoo in 1983. This gentle giant is a hit with crowd and loves being the zoo's ambassador. From celebrities to school children, Toshi's charm takes everyone by suprise.

Many zoos have animals, but Sir Nils Olav is no ordinary animal — he has a military background. Much like the Penguins of Madagascar this skipper is unique in his abilities. In 1961, Norwegian King's Guard Lieutenant Nils Egelien visited Edinburgh zoo, here he was fascinated with its penguin colony. So much so that he arranged for the Norwegian National Gaurd to adopt a penguin and give it a rank. Sir Nils receives a rank promotion everytime the Gaurd visits the zoo, the latest promotion being in 2023 when Sir Olav Nils was officiated as a Major General. When he's not on duty, he lives a happy, civilian life as a fish connoisseur.

Joey was an orphaned baby sea otter discovered on the coast of Kyuquot, British Columbia, in July 2020. Joey was found crying next to his already dead mom, and was taken to Ocean Wise Marine Mammal Rescue Center where he recieved around-the-clock care. Joey was streamed to Youtube where his daily antics gained him a legion of fans. After 33 days, Joey was transferred to the Vancouver Aquarium, but his fame continues. There is a 24/7 cam over the otter lagoon where fans can watch him play with his newfound family.
